Sean O'Sullivan, the IT Dragon of Dragon's Den is invited speaker for the graduation.

The video production classes will take place in Lab 1.15 (the iMac lab on the 1st floor).
The class will be divided into two groups with the following rule:
Group 1 (10 am - 12 noon): With all students outside Cork traveling 20 kms or more to UCC.
Group 2 (12 noon - 2 pm ): With all students from Cork areas traveling less than 20 kms to UCC.

Munster Programming Training
The Department of Computer Science at University College Cork runs a program aimed at secondary school
transition year students from the Munster area, called "Munster Programming Training".
The aim of this program is to offer special training in computer programming as preparation
for participation in the "All Irish Schools Programming Competition".
The program will consist of a series of 20 formal and practical lectures that will be delivered by
lecturers from the Department on Saturday mornings from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The Objectives
By providing this program, we hope to achieve the following:
To give a short and basic introduction to computer programming.
To foster interest in computers by encouraging young students to learn about programming at an early age.
To prepare them for programming competitions.
To deliver a programming competition for the Munster area.
Training Materials
Cycle 1 - for Transition Year students or younger.
Cycle 2 - Preparation for AISPC competition.
Summer Camp on Flash Games and Video Production .
