Syllabus

  • Design of VR Environments
  • VR Interfaces
  • The Senses and the Perceptual Mechanisms - Psychophysical aspects of VR
  • Immersion in Virtual and Augmented Realities
  • Spatial Paradigms in VR
  • Three Dimensional Geometry and Interactive Computer Graphics
  • Visualization and Simulation
  • Panoramic Photorealistic Environments (e.g. QTVR)
  • Augmented Reality
  • Java 3D, VRML, and X3D

Schedule

  • Lectures: 2 hours per week for 24 weeks
  • Labs: 1 lab session per week for 24 weeks
